London moving to tier 2 - please read!
15/10/2020
Dear players, with London moving to tier 2, there are some implications for how we will operate over the next few weeks.
Firstly, we confirm that the club will remain open as organised sports and exercise classes are permitted under tier 2 rules.
Secondly, we will enforce the COVID-19 rules we have put in place in July, this means showers will be closed again, but the changing rooms will remain open. The rules are available on our website and a poster is on Centre Court. Sadly, we will need to enforce them and we kindly ask you to follow them; this is critical to ensure we all stay safe and healthy and continue to play!
Thirdly in terms of bookings, weather permitting (no rain), we will prioritise outdoor court bookings, and move as many of the matches outdoors. I understand this is not your preferred court for many of you, and if you’d rather withdraw from the match than play outdoors, please let us know in advance.
For the time being, all events and bookings will continue as planned. For those of you registered to the LTA tournament next week, we will let you know if the LTA decide to cancel.
Thank you for your cooperation and your support!
